Kualanamu International Airport
We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to hotel Deli River for 1 overnight stay, nicely situated in the countryside outside Medan. In Hotel Deli River you can rejuvenate and rest after your long journey and take a dip in the infinity pool looking over the Deli River.
In the morning depart to Tangkahan. Tangkahan is famous for its elephant safaris and wonderful jungle scenery. You will cross the hanging bridge to reach your lodge. 2 overnight stays in Mega Inn or Linnea Resort or Jungle lodge or similar accommodation (simple accommodation).
This morning you will head off to a nearby elephant rangers station. There, elephants which were once used to help rangers monitor the nearby jungle, now offer a unique elephant experience. After helping the rangers feed and bathe the elephants, you will take a walk with them through the river and jungle. At noon free at your own program in this fascinating jungle area, you can have a very nice swim in the unspoiled jungle river, sit on a small beach full off butterflies and take a shower under a jungle waterfall
PS: For your information, no elephant’s activities on Friday as the elephants are used for jungle patrol on this day.
