Welcome by your local guide and transfer to your hotel in Sanur. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure with your driver and guide for a day of discovery of western Bali.
You will leave Sanur to reach Mengwi. Visit the superb royal temple of Taman Ayun, built in the middle of the 17th century by the royal family of Mengwi. Surrounded by wide moats, it seduces visitors with its serenity, the balance of its buildings and the richness of its sculptures.
Departure towards Jatiluwih, famous for its extraordinary rice terraces classified as World Heritage by Unesco. Depart from the Jatiluwih belvedere for a 45-minute walk in the rice fields with your guide. You will walk in the heart of this extraordinary landscape of rice fields and discover the complex irrigation system of the Subak: the peasants have kept the same ancestral irrigation techniques for centuries (provide good walking shoes & sun protection).

In the afternoon, continuation to the mountainous region of Bedugul in the North Center of the island and renowned for its cool climate and market gardening: the region is also known for its volcanic lakes including Lake Bratan. Visit of the lake temple of Pura Ulun Danu: dedicated to the Goddess of the Waters, this delicious little temple erected on 2 islets a few meters from the shore seems to float peacefully on the waters of Lake Bratan. It is without a doubt one of the most photogenic temples in Bali.
Road to Umabian with a stop at the fruit and orchid market.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Umabian.
Departure from Umabian around 9:30 am in the company of your driver and French-speaking guide to reach the village of Tunjunk, or sustainable tourism excursion will be offered to you at the farm scored by Taman Sari Buwana. You will have the opportunity to live a unique experience of Balinese life, by supporting a project based on sustainable tourism in the village of Tunjunk.
Discovery of the traditional activities of the village: initiation to the preparation of offerings made from palm leaves for ceremonies, observation of the training of roosters for fights (no fighting).
Farm activities: hat and walking stick will be loaned to you (we advise you to put on flip-flops / sandals and use sunscreen). You will walk with the peasants to their rice fields, locally known as “Sawah”. Depending on the season, you will learn to plant, or rather transplant rice.
Visit a coconut plantation where the villagers will show their ability to climb and pick young coconuts and a fresh coconut will be served to refresh you.
Return to the village to observe the cooking of cassava in traditional cuisine before enjoying a delicious country lunch.
In the afternoon, departure towards Tanah Lot on the west coast of Bali. Visit Tanah Lot, Bali’s most famous temple which stands spectacularly on a small rocky islet about 100 meters off the west coast of Bali.
Transfer to Ubud, the small cultural and artistic capital of Bali.
Installation at your hotel near Ubud and end of the afternoon free. Dinner at a local restaurant in Ubud. Overnight at hotel in Ubud.
Road towards Tampaksring and stop to visit the archaeological site of Gunung Kawi with its royal tombs carved into the side of a cliff (descent by many stairs, bring good walking shoes – duration 1h15 round trip)
Visit of the sacred source of Tirta Empul, created according to legend by the god Indra and which attracts many pilgrims who came to purify themselves in its waters reputed to be miraculous.
Road north-east towards Mont Batur. Along the way, the small picturesque roads offer very pleasant views of the rice fields.
Arrival at the Penelokan belvedere from where you can contemplate the splendid view of the volcano and Lake Batur.
Lunch in a local restaurant with a superb panoramic view of the volcano.
In the afternoon, return to Ubud by taking small picturesque roads.
Stop en route in the village of Tegalalang which offers very pleasant views of the rice fields, which seem to be cut with a knife.
Return to Ubud and quick visit to the Royal Palace. At the heart of the city, built in the 16th century, the palace is still the home of the king of Ubud and the royal family.
Free time at the Ubud Market which is full of crafts and traditional products.
Return to the hotel to cool off.
Dinner at a local restaurant in Ubud. Overnight in Ubud.
Depart from Ubud towards Klungkung and visit the former Royal Court of Justice known as Kerta Gosa. The attraction is the ceiling decorated with wayang-style paintings depicting the fight between good and evil.
Continuation towards Besakih and visit of the temple of Besakih, known under the name of the “Mother Temple” of Bali. Located on the western slope of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano (3000 meters), Besakih is the largest and most important Hindu temple on the island.
Lunch at the local restaurant Maha Giri in Rendang with a panoramic view of Mount Agung and a superb landscape of rice terraces.

Arrival in Tirtagangga and visit of the Aquatic Palace, built at the beginning of the 20th century by the last king of Karangasem. It has many decorative ponds and fountains, lush vegetation and natural pools.
Road via Amlapura towards Candidasa for your last visit of the day. Discovery of the village of Tenganan which shelters the community of Bali Aga (the first inhabitants of Bali before the Hinduism of the island) who have preserved their animist traditions. The village is very different from a Balinese village has kept a primitive architecture: the inhabitants have always weaved superb Ikat and produce basketry.
You will follow the South East coast of Bali to return to Ubud.
Dinner at a local restaurant in Ubud. Return to the hotel and overnight in Ubud.
Free morning in Ubud for a personal discovery of the city.

In the middle of the afternoon, departure in the company of your driver and your guide for an excursion in the Bukit peninsula in the extreme south of Bali and visit of the temple of Uluwatu perched on high cliffs which dominate the ocean Indian.
You will then witness a sunset performance of the spectacular Kecak Dance in the Uluwatu Open Air Theater.
Direct transfer to Jimbaran resort in the southern part of Bali for a dinner of grilled fish and seafood, served directly on beautiful Jimbaran beach.
Return to your hotel in Sanur.
Free stay with breakfast to enjoy the beach.
Transfer to Denpasar airport for your return flight.
